On Saturday we planned on going outside to take some candid portraits of the kids. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t really cooperating. Because it was supposed to clear up soon, we waited a while, before making the decision that “outside pics” weren’t going happen.

Instead, we went to our hotel, to try to take some more “posed” pictures in the lobby. Unfortunately, by then, the kids weren’t really happy, so cooperation was low.

Today we went to the Powell Gardens; it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed just strolling around.

Today we are leaving for Missouri, to visit our friends Aaron and Miriam, and their two lovely children.

It has been a busy year already, so getting a weekend away will be great. We have a few plans:

• Relaxing
• Barbecue
• Symphony
• Fireworks
• Oh, and more relaxing

Today I had the honor of being the official photographer for the Relay For Life event in Holmdel, New Jersey.

The event took place at the Vonage headquarters, on Main Street.

I shot about 600 images, and I’m still going through them. But here are some of my favorites:
