Toine is a professional photographer who specializes in portraits and weddings.

He was introduced to photography at an early age by his talented father, Kees. Together, they would spend countless hours taking pictures, and developing them in their own darkroom. His father taught him the important basics of composition, exposure, as well as how to look at situations from unusual vantage points. In high school this knowledge came in handy in Toine’s role as a writer and contributor for the school newspaper. His photos frequently appeared on the front page.

In college, Toine used photography as a creative diversion from his many engineering classes and exams. It was during those years that Toine discovered his passion for portraiture, both candid and in a studio.

After several years of doing portraits, Toine was asked to take pictures at a friend’s wedding. It was at this wedding that he fell in love with wedding photography.

Toine was born and raised in Utrecht, The Netherlands and currently lives in Keyport, NJ.
